SUMMARY:Securing Support Is a Leadership Skill: How to Build Your Allies\, Make the Ask\, and Lock In Agreement
DESCRIPTION:Securing Support Is a Leadership Skill: How to Build Your Allies\, Make the Ask\, and Lock In Agreement \n\n\nMany of the most capable professionals in organizations are quietly struggling because they were taught that needing help is a weakness. And not everyone feels equally entitled to ask. Women\, first-generation professionals\, and people from underrepresented groups are often conditioned to work harder and go it alone. The cost shows up as burnout\, stalled careers\, and talent that walks out the door. \n\n\nDrawing from her award-winning\, bestselling book\, Permission to Dominate Your Success\, Executive Coach Liz M. Lopez shows that securing support is a leadership skill anyone can learn. She reveals why so many requests for help fall flat\, and how the right person\, the right timing\, and the right words can turn a hesitant ask into a confident agreement. \n\n\nThis interactive webinar is designed for HR professionals at every level\, from coordinators to CHROs\, who spend their days supporting everyone else. Participants will leave with practical tools to identify where they need support\, make a clear and dignified ask\, handle a “no” with grace\, and lock in agreements that last. They’ll also gain fresh insight into building a workplace where asking for support is normal\, safe\, and encouraged for every employee. \nLiz M. Lopez is a Success Coach\, award-winning bestselling author\, and international speaker who specializes in teaching corporate leaders and entrepreneurs how to elevate their visibility\, expand their influence\, and achieve their next level of success. After a 15-year corporate leadership career with Capital One\, Verizon\, and PODS\, Coach Liz founded Captivate Your Audience in 2007 and has since guided thousands of professionals to breakthrough results. Her book\, Permission to Dominate Your Success\, is an award-winning Amazon bestseller and winner of the 2026 Bold Authors Book of the Year award. Coach Liz has inspired audiences in more than 40 countries. \n\nThis is a FREE service offered to your locals from HR-NE.\nPlease note: These webinars will not be recorded and AI notetaking will not be enabled. Session will not be recorded.\nRecertification codes will be shared at the end of the hour only. \nZoom link will be shared when the date gets closer.
