Join us for a Lunch & Learn on May 9 from 11:30am-1:00pm. This session will cover Conversations with Purpose with Liz Mayfield, MPA of Hope Harbor. Registration and lunch begins at 11:30am with the presentation to follow from 12:00pm-1:00pm.
During this presentation you will:
- Develop an understanding and discover new tools to move from disagreement to dialogue
- Identify your conversation style and explore new ways to create safety in conversations
- Develop tools to prepare for difficult conversations in advance, focusing on outcome

Presenter: Liz Mayfield is the executive director of Hope Harbor, a nonprofit agency working with the unhoused in central Nebraska. She graduated from Doane University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Organizational Communication, and received her Masters of Public Administration in Nonprofit Management from the University of Nebraska – Omaha. She is a graduate of Leadership Tomorrow, Nonprofit Excellence Institute, and currently serves as the chair of Project Connect and is a Foster Care Review Board member. She lives in Grand Island with her family.
